Website Promotion and Succeeding Online

Search engines are the first place that potential visitors
use to find your web site. This is why building your URL
link popularity is so important as the first step at website
promotion. If potential visitors do not find your website,
you have no way of succeeding online.

Link popularity refers to the ranking assigned to your
website by the search engines, and it determines the ranking
your page gets when search phrases (keywords) are entered
into a search engine. So, you're probably wondering, how do
I make my link popular?

Search engines give status and ranking to sites that have
links to their pages from other sites. Google created the
system, and now virtually all the most popular search
engines employ it to rank your web pages in their indexes.

The more competitive your search phrases (keywords) are, the
harder it will be to achieve link popularity. Without
achieving it however, your site will never rank highly on
the search engines. This alone can greatly diminish your
website promotion results and chances of succeeding online.
Don't be discouraged however, there are ways of achieving
link popularity using the most competitive search phrases
(keywords).

One way to achieve link popularity and thereby effective
website promotion is to become a member of a link networking
system. Such systems typically build a network and
distribute member links out through it a set number of
levels. One example of such a system is "Links Explode" and
it will greatly enhance your chances of succeeding online.

Making Money Online - With Paid to Read Programs

I've already discussed making money online with affiliate
programs in general. Now, I'll address making money
online with "Paid to Read Programs", and what you should
look for in finding a good one. Again, I mean programs
where you can make money, and not how legitimate they are
(they may be legitimate and still not make any money for you).

There are a number of different types of get paid to read
programs. Two of the more popular are "Get Paid to Read Email
and Get Paid to Read Advertising. As with affiliate programs,
in general, you should look for multi-tier programs. The
reasons for this are the same as for affiliate programs
generally. What then are the distinquishing features you'll
be keeping an eye out for.

First, Look for those programs that have a guaranteed
readership for your ads and/or offers. As an example, assume
you're a member of one of these programs and it requires you
to read a certain number of ads in return for your ad/offer
to being shown to other members. In this case, if you do read
the required number of ads/offers, then your ad/offer is
guaranteed to be shown to other members.

Second, look for programs that are free to join and offer free
advertising of some sort, i.e. after you read a certain number
emails/ads, etc.

Third, a program thats pay plan offers residual income features
which can multiply your income geometrically.

Making Money Online ~ With Affiliate Programs!

In a previous post I discussed finding legitimate online
money making opportunities. In this post I'll discuss
making money with affiliate programs, and what you should
look for in finding a good one. Here I mean programs where
you can make money, and not how legitimate they are
(they may be legitimate and still not make any money
for you).

One of the first things you should look for are multi-
tier programs. These are programs which allow you to recruit
other members who will earn you override commissions on
the goods they sell. And why is this important you ask? In
short, Because of the competitive nature of the internet.
Like it or not, the internet is not the mass market you
think it to be. No matter how hard you try, you can only
reach a few people at a time using the available free or
low cost promotion methods, i.e. permission based email,
free classifieds or blogging to mention a few.

And that is exactly why multi-tier programs work best,
because you're earning override commissions on the efforts
of others who you have recruited into the program.

The next thing you should look for are programs which are
"Big Box" in nature and offer multiply streams of income.
Each income stream represents a product or group of products.
The more income streams the better. And where do you find
such a program you ask? Trust me,
Shawn Casey's Multi-Profit System
is just such a program.

Find Legitimate Online Income Opportunities

If you are wondering if there are legitimate online income opportunities available, stop wondering. A quick computer search revealed more than 72 million postings regarding online income opportunities. No doubt some of these listings are bogus but, certainly not all 72,600,000 of them.

With so many choices, you definitely don’t want to look at all the offerings. What you need to do is decide on what types of income opportunities would be ideal for you. Make a list then devote some time to researching the possibilities in those areas you have settled upon.
As you proceed with your research, you should take into consideration that there are many legitimate, as well as illegitimate online income opportunities. Be leery of opportunities that boast income figures that seem too good to be true, while the offering itself, is vaque and non specific. If the opportunity is as good as they say, they should be divulging everything and offering proof. After all, if it's legitimate, why hide anything. Many, not all, who do are scams.

With that said, what are some of the more likely legitimate online income opportunities.

It seems there is never enough money

Sound familiar? If so, maybe you're a little like me and are always or, almost always looking for a way to make a little extra money.

And why not! Who can keep up with it all. The increases at the gas pump. The thought of higher heating costs this winter. And did I mention that my car died recently and I had to pick up a new one today. And the list goes on and on. Needless to say, all of this can put some heavy duty pressure on your personal and/or family finances.

In an attempt to lesson the pressure, I looked at the internet as a source of some extra cash. What I found were online affiliate programs. One program known as the Multi-Profit System by Mining Gold Corporation is particularly noteworthy. You can read more about it at: http://cmurdock.atspace.com
